What is Laser Eyebrow Removal?
A special laser is used to fragment the ink of your tattoo. Your immune system then removes the tiny fragments. The laser beam creates a photo-acoustic shock wave which when absorbed by tattoo pigments causes them to fragment. Heat is released by the ink during this fragmentation which affects the cells surrounding the tattoo causing them to become white – a small white blister also forms at the surface of the skin with each laser impact. The fragmented ink particles are removed from the body by the immune system.
Do i need a patch test?
Yes, all laser services require a patch test.
Will i lose my eyebrow hair?
There will always be risks associated with Laser. Most clients notice the hairs lose colour and tend to go lighter. But that colour normally returns after a few weeks.
Does Laser tattoo removal hurt?
No removal service is pain free! But laser is fast, therefore tolerable. How does it feel?
Each impact on the skin from the laser will cause a feeling which many people describe as an elastic band being ‘snapped’ against the skin.
Can i have Laser treatments with my darker skin tone?
Laser treatments on clients with melanin rich skin is to be carried out by a specialist machine and technician. At the Quaye Clinic we are able to treat clients up to a Fitzpatrick 1-3. For help with your Fitzpatrick scale there are many examples available online or we can help you with a quick quiz.
Why do i need a consultation for laser?
Laser treatments are very complex, there are many variables to be considered which will be discussed in depth with you to ensure you are fully aware of the process and what to expect.
What is Lift?
The Li-FT® Saline Removal Solution is a non-chemical, non-acid, high salt based, fruit seed extract saline tattoo lightening solution that can lighten a tattoo or permanent makeup procedure.
Where can Lift be used?
The Li-FT® Saline Solution is safe for use on Eyebrows, Eyeliner, Lip Vermillion borders and small body tattoos.
Can i have Lift? Do I need a patch test?
Everyone can have it! Yes, all lightening services require a patch test.
How is the Solution applied?
The saline solution is implanted and tattooed right into the skin, directly into the area of the unwanted pigment just as pigment or ink is implanted into the skin.
Does tattoo removal hurt?
Lightening is not a pain free treatment but it is tolerable.
What Can I Expect After the Procedure?
The skin will be very red and you should expect it to be a little tender. The area must remain clean, dry and no makeup applied to the area so a scab can form. The scabbing process is very important, during this process ink particles are drawn up into the scab and fall out during the healing process. It's important to not pick or pull at any scabs on the surface.
